Mistress Honey Punch: It was a long journey, but I know exactly where to start. The first time I ever heard about BDSM was actually at a family dinner as a child. My parents had apparently read an ad or something similar in the newspaper. It probably doesn’t surprise you that this ad caused quite a stir at the table—my Polish academic family was extremely traditional and religious. Of course, they didn’t explain what BDSM was. Honestly, I think they still don’t really know. But I’ll never forget how my mother jokingly redefined “SM” as “Syf-Malaria,” referring to syphilis and malaria.

My next encounter with BDSM was—unsurprisingly—online. I was still very young when I secretly browsed naughty websites on the family computer, clicking through various categories. I’ve always been curious, and the older I got, the more I questioned what my parents tried to portray negatively.

When I landed on the BDSM category, I was fascinated but unsure if I was supposed to like what I saw. But it was undeniably exciting. Whenever simple videos bored me, I clicked on BDSM. Back then, though, BDSM didn’t grip me as much as it does today because a) I was still inexperienced, and b) the videos focused on punishing passive women. In my work today as a Dominatrix, I’m only interested in training men.

In the vanilla relationships I had, I usually ended up in the passive role in bed. Maybe that’s why I felt unsatisfied. Actively engaging my partners brought me far more joy. Since early 2022, I’ve officially been part of the team and feel completely at home. My life has flipped 180 degrees, and I’m grateful to work independently as a Dominatrix. One day, when Madame Gillette—the studio’s owner—told me about how she began with a newspaper ad for her own BDSM studio, I had to laugh. Maybe that was the very ad my parents freaked out about back then. I guess I’ll never know.

Mistress Honey Punch: During my time as an online Dominatrix, I bought several books to get a clearer picture of the Femdom world. One of your books with session ideas helped me a lot in the beginning—both online and in real life. The suggestions sparked creativity, and I developed new ideas while chatting. The slaves stayed longer in the chatroom, which meant more income for me.
In real life, one idea worked especially well: I had to prepare the bathroom for a colleague after my guest used it, but my session had already started and I was under time pressure. Since my guest didn’t have a cleaning fetish, I used his shoe fetish instead. While I stepped out of the playroom, he had to press the object of his desire—my platform shoe—against the wall with his face. Just as your book suggested, it was right in front of his nose and amplified his arousal. Extremely practical!

Lady Sas: “Mistress Honey Punch” is a creative, unusual name. How did you come up with it, and what does it mean to you?

Mistress Honey Punch: I first used the name for my online work, and then it stuck. I wanted something modern-sounding. I’m glad it resonates. But ultimately, I was inspired by the classic principle of slave training: the carrot and the stick.
Only for me, it’s the honey and the punch.

Lady Sas: Are you working as a Dominatrix full-time?

Mistress Honey Punch: Yes. I worked full-time in an office after finishing my studies, and I’m so glad I left! And working part-time in a studio would still just feel like work. I love my Dominatrix lifestyle. (The slaves who get the privilege of serving me know exactly what I mean.)

Lady Sas: You show your face openly in photos. How does your private environment handle the fact that you work as a Dominatrix?

Mistress Honey Punch: Only a handful of people know so far. Some friends were a bit shocked, but most think it’s bold and exciting. My parents are just happy that I’m happy. Whether they see the many advantages and creative aspects of the work—I doubt it. But I believe that everyone finds their own way of coming to terms with it, in their own time.

I’ve always been honest. And when it comes to my work, I don’t hold back. I think that’s important. I hope fetish work and sex work will someday stop being looked down on. I’m not exactly eager to get politically involved, but I once had the idea to explore fetish and sex work academically. I even mentioned it in my motivation letter for a master’s program in cultural studies at the University of Leipzig. I originally wanted to work in cultural management, so a master’s thesis with a practical component made sense.
My idea was to bring together fetish workers, sex workers, and people from the fetish party scene in Leipzig to host live interviews and small performances.

But the result? I ended up ranked dead last. I took it as a sign that people like me aren’t welcome there. In my first application I wasn’t last—so this felt particularly outdated. Shame on you, University of Leipzig!

Mistress Honey Punch: That video went absolutely viral—I still can’t believe it. My Twitter follower count doubled overnight. People love crazy stuff! And maybe I’m ruining the magic now, but I only took the pony for a short walk in the studio courtyard. I threaten to take him to the supermarket in the video, but I wouldn’t actually do that.
Outdoor play is complicated. Expressing your fetish through your appearance or attending public kink parades is one thing—but private sessions are different. I’d also feel uncomfortable if a vanilla couple were making out wildly right outside a supermarket entrance. Outdoor is fine only as long as no one feels disturbed.

Lady Sas: Leipzig is your home base. Can you tell us something about the private BDSM scene there?

Mistress Honey Punch: I only work at the Black Fun Studio and have the impression that most guests aren’t from Leipzig, so I’m not sure I can give a detailed answer. We get many international visitors, and English sessions are part of my daily routine.
As for Leipzig’s private scene: there are some amazing latex models here who also organize a fetish event called Pervy Muse. And the techno clubs in Leipzig are very open to fetish-friendly guests, many of whom end up in their darkrooms.

Lady Sas: How do you get new ideas? What inspires you?

Mistress Honey Punch: I get a lot of inspiration from Twitter and Instagram—I definitely have my Dominatrix role models. You never stop learning—neither as a person nor as a Dominatrix!

Mistress Honey Punch: I love taking my mountain bike into the woods and soaking up nature. I try to do that as often as possible. I also love spending time with my boyfriend, family, and friends. I enjoy cooking, good restaurants, and occasionally going out.

Lady Sas: What are your plans for the future?

Mistress Honey Punch: I’m not the type to make long-term plans. I have plenty of ideas in my head, but I prefer short-term goals that I can pursue step by step. Next on my list is launching my own website.
