Lady Sas: Cheyenne, let’s start with your background. How did you first discover the BDSM world, and how did you become a Dominatrix?

Lady Cheyenne de Muriel: I already noticed during puberty that my sexual interests were different from those of people my age. I come from a conservative home, so I didn’t exactly go looking for answers about whether this was normal. But the only erotic encounters I ever had were bizarre or sadomasochistic. That shaped me and made it clear that this is the only kind of sexuality I truly want to live. Later, in my early twenties, I randomly discovered online that there are special establishments – SM studios – where people with fantasies like mine can express them freely.

The problem is: media culture often promotes a twisted image of “the woman” – one that quietly steals women’s self-confidence. Because of that influence, many women struggle to take full ownership of their own sexuality. I’m very critical of what people call the “sexual revolution”, because I think it pretends to serve both genders, but in reality it often doesn’t. Even though I was raised strictly and conservatively, I was always taught certain liberal values when it comes to sexuality – and I hold on to that.

Lady Sas: My observation: with male subs, chastity (chastity devices, orgasm control) is a huge theme. With female subs, it’s often more direct use and sexual access by the Mistress. Is that also your view?

Lady Cheyenne de Muriel: Not entirely. I don’t really see a strict female vs. male pattern. Both men and women want to experience loss of control in front of the Dominatrix. That’s the real key – no matter what the individual fantasy looks like.

Lady Sas: Let’s do a little mind game. If you woke up one day as a man, what would you do?

Lady Cheyenne de Muriel: I think I’d just stay at home and wait for it to be over. I love being a woman. I feel at home in my gender. The idea of not being myself – I would honestly find that very hard to bear.

Lady Cheyenne de Muriel: I moved to Stuttgart for professional and family reasons. The city – and Baden-Württemberg in general – completely charmed me. The culture, the people, the rhythm of life… I felt connected very quickly. I’m happy here.

Lady Sas: What inspires you? Where do your session ideas come from?

Lady Cheyenne de Muriel: My partner inspires me. The person in front of me. That’s where new ideas are born. I always build on what we’ve already created together and imagine the “next chapter”. I’ve never watched BDSM porn – even though I’ve filmed scenes myself. I don’t want to imitate anyone. I always want to be myself, act from myself, and stay original in every session.

And honestly, I don’t think we always have to go hunting for explanations. We don’t have to pathologize every desire. We should accept what we are, and live it consciously.

From my experience, only part of someone’s fetish comes from their past. People love to reduce everything to childhood or trauma because it’s an easy answer. Reality is more complex. Many factors shape our inner movie. That’s a whole interview on its own.

Lady Sas: Last question. How do you come down and recharge after sessions? How do you find balance?

Lady Cheyenne de Muriel: My other profession gives me a lot of balance and keeps me grounded. Also: music, visual art, film, photography, literature – I dive into all of that. The same way I seek depth in a session, I seek depth in culture. Nature is also important to me. Riding calms me and brings me back to an original state, where I can gather new energy. And of course: sports. Physical activity is part of how I reset.
