Lady Sas: Dear Déborah, please describe to us how you became a Dominatrix.

Déborah Danger: Since I was a child I’ve been dominant with my cousin and my brother especially, I played at kidnapping and gagging my brother, interrogating him, locking him in wardrobes, tying him up with a rope so that he would be my dog, it is a natural instinct that has always been inside me.

In Paris I realized, working as an erotic masseuse, that when a client was a fetishist or asked to be dominated for most of my colleagues it was something unpleasant and those who did it, do it only for money, that’s where and when I realized that for me however it was a pleasure, and I began to shape and develop this dominant part of my life, at the same, I’m a very sexual person, I like to understand sexuality widely, as a journalist I always like writing  about human psychology and how to break taboos in order to embrace freedom, and deep down I’m an eternal player and I like to play with the limits cause I love adrenaline and every session is chance.

Lady Sas: How did you come up with your name Déborah Danger? Is there a philosophy behind it?

Déborah Danger: The etymology of Deborah is the verb “to devour” from the Latin devorare and means “to eat with eagerness, great appetite and passion”. It is a verb that is intrinsically linked to desire, to devour goes beyond eating, when you want and desire someone you want to merge with that person, you want to feel that they are inside you, that is to devour, and that is the sexual desire that I play with in my life and in my sessions, intense, deep and rooted.

I like to feel that I possess my clients and that they, in turn, feel devoured by their desire in each session. Danger refers to the danger that is doubly associated to myself with not knowing what is going to happen to you, because I don’t accept very detailed scripts, I enjoy giving free rein to my imagination,  they tell me the ingredients and I cook the menu, but danger is a double-edged sword because our desires frighten us. I am often their object of adoration, when they have me in front of them, and I become their dark object of desire when they leave. I like them to feel satiated so that when they come back again, they will be hungry again.

I like to feel that I possess my clients and that they, in turn, feel devoured by their desire in each session.

Lady Sas: What excites you about BDSM and training slaves?

Déborah Danger: Everything. I’m Gemini, I’m very curious and very mental and the best thing about Bdsm is a big universe, you can explore a lot of different disciplines and you don’t have time to get bored. I like it when I play as the Spanish teacher, the flight attendant or the boss in a work interview. I like this rol playing, as well I like playing with the body limits, for example through fissting, breath control whipping, and some extreme practices. Of course, everybody is welcome but my preference is always masochists and I can walk through the limits. As I’ve told you, I find it very exciting and I admire their capacity  to turn pain into pleasure.

From Paris to Berlin: Fantasy, Role Play & Power

Lady Sas: On your website you write: “For me, domination is role-playing”. How would you describe your role?

Déborah Danger: It is because everything happens inside one context. The person who comes as a client is playing with his or her sexual fantasy, which does not mean that because someone fantasises about being raped they like it if it happens in real life, the fantasy is rooted in a subconscious part of the brain, and we play in sub-space. Accepting and embracing rather than rejecting that part contributes to living a happier life and a more integrated personality and ultimately contributes to making the lives of those around you better.  My role is to make those fantasies real, and as I have worked in television for a long time, for me it’s like writing a script for fiction or for a play, I visualize it in my head and then I execute it. So I feel creative and in touch with my personal power.

Lady Sas: You’re based in Paris and Berlin. What’s the story behind living in two cities?

Déborah Danger: I have recently moved to Berlin, but I have clients in Paris, mainly because I started working there so I combine the two.

My role is to make those fantasies real, and as I have worked in television for a long time, for me it’s like writing a script for fiction or for a play, I visualize it in my head and then I execute it. So I feel creative and in touch with my personal power.

Lady Sas: In your eyes, how do Parisians deal with femdom BDSM and how Berliners? Where are the similarities and where are the differences?

Déborah Danger: I think in Germany people like it hard, while in Paris you find more fetishistic clients, but essentially for me there is no big difference, I always like to connect with the human being behind each session, with his feelings, sensations, with his core, in essence with their energy and I find each client very honest with themselves for accepting and living their sexuality fully in a session, especially because many of them, and this is a common point, when they are beginners, are afraid or have spent years struggling to repress their desires and when they accept it their energy expands. so I consider my subs very honest and braves.

Lady Sas: You do offer Tantric Massage. What does Tantric mean and what is it all about?

Déborah Danger: In a tantric massage, male and female energy are combined, the two are harmonized in a balance between giving and receiving. Tantra was born in India but is based on the principle of yin and yang. As I explain on my website it is a complete massage that gives attention to each part of your body, and as I practice reiki I concentrate on each of the chakras of the person, is a lymphatic massage, made to feel and experience where we have blocked energies, and it is at the same time erotic and sensual, I do it with my hands and I do it with my body, it ends with a happy ending, or as they say in French ‘une petite mort’, an orgasm, Scorpio, energy of death and rebirth, sexy and powerful.

Lady Sas: What are your plans for the future?

Déborah Danger: Settling in Berlin, working in other European capitals, like Switzerland and London, and next year spending a few months in the USA in a beautiful dungeon, but wherever I am I will always be an activist for sex work and sexual freedom.
