This interview is part of our interviews with German Mistresses. New to Femdom? Our Femdom Guide provides an introduction.
Lady Sas: Dear Virginia, how did you become a Dominatrix Companion?
Dominatrix Virginia Nox: I discovered my dominant side quite early on. At first, it was a private passion, then one day someone offered me money online, which sparked my interest. Over time, it became clear that this was more than a hobby – it was a calling. What began as a side hustle soon turned into a thriving business. I was still working as a nurse back then, and one day I realized I was earning in a single day what I made in an entire month at the hospital. That’s when I decided to take the leap and fully embrace this path.

Virginia Nox

I love pushing my submissives to their emotional and physical limits, crafting scenes that are both cathartic and ecstatic. It’s intoxicating—for them, and for me. And yes, power play is my absolute favorite. I never go anywhere without my whips!

Virginia Nox – Düsseldorf Dominatrix with an International Audience
Lady Sas: Please tell us something about your personal background. Your preferred language is English, but you started your journey in German studios and your home base is Düsseldorf. How does that all fit together?
Dominatrix Virginia Nox: I grew up bilingual, with both English and German as part of my daily life, so switching between the two is second nature to me. English, however, has always held a special place in my heart—it’s polite, precise, and wonderfully international. Most of my online presence is in English—Instagram, Twitter – because it simply reaches more people.
That said, I have deep appreciation for my German clients and love working in my native language just as much. For my international audience and online, I usually try to keep my language clear and easy to understand, but since my latest website update, I’ve realized it might be a bit more challenging to read for non-native speakers. That’s why I’m currently working on a full German translation of the site.
Lady Sas: What do you associate with the name Virginia Nox?
Dominatrix Virginia Nox: Intoxicating Pureness. Obviously. But I’m currently thinking about rebranding to Petra Pan

Virginia Nox on Power Exchange, Medical Play and Hypnosis
Lady Sas: What fascinates you about training submissives?
Dominatrix Virginia Nox: I live for the power exchange – that moment when someone surrenders completely, when their world narrows to my voice, my touch, my commands. It’s not just about control, it’s about connection. I love pushing my submissives to their emotional and physical limits, crafting scenes that are both cathartic and ecstatic. It’s intoxicating—for them, and for me. And yes, power play is my absolute favorite. I never go anywhere without my whips!
Lady Sas: You also offer Clinical Excellence. How did that come about, and what’s the appeal for you in that area?
Dominatrix Virginia Nox: As I already mentioned, before I stepped fully into my role as a dominatrix, I worked as an anesthetic nurse. That background gave me not only the technical skill but also a calm, clinical confidence when dealing with medical play. I know exactly what I’m doing, whether it’s needles, catheters, or more elaborate scenarios. I offer sessions both in authentic clinic settings and private spaces, including discreet home (hotel) visits. For me, it’s not just roleplay – it’s another calling of mine, it’s precision, empowerment, discipline and care all woven into one.
Additionally, I’m also a certified hypnotherapist since 2021, which brings a valuable therapeutic dimension to my work. Several of my submissive clients have already engaged with me in a therapeutic setting, and it’s deeply rewarding to support them in achieving lasting, meaningful change. While I mostly offer hypnotherapy on its own and detached from my work as dominatrix, it can also be integrated into sessions to enhance psychological depth and explore subconscious dynamics in a safe and structured way.

They invited me to be part of the Playboy brand, and of course, I said yes. It’s such a timeless icon, and it’s a thrilling experience to be featured.

How Virginia Nox Became Part of the Playboy Brand
Lady Sas: Your Instagram links to a Playboy Magazine feature. How did that collaboration come about?
Dominatrix Virginia Nox: They actually discovered me and reached out. I was honored – they invited me to be part of the Playboy brand, and of course, I said yes. It’s such a timeless icon, and it’s a thrilling experience to be featured.
Lady Sas: Are your submissives more German or international?
Dominatrix Virginia Nox: It’s quite evenly split – I would say about 50/50. Düsseldorf is a cosmopolitan city, and I often travel or have visitors from all over the world. That international mix keeps things dynamic and allows me to constantly explore new fantasies and cultural nuances. I love it!

Lady Sas: What does it take to be a successful independent dominatrix today?
Dominatrix Virginia Nox: You need creative freedom – and the ability to stand out. It’s crucial to have visibility, especially online, and to express your unique persona authentically. Social media can be tricky; platforms aren’t always kind to our line of work. But I’ve learned how to navigate that, to build a loyal audience and communicate my brand effectively.
It takes resilience, savvy marketing, and genuine passion for the craft. I’ve found quite the passion in creating videos and editing photos. Besides working with professional photographers every now and then, I do it all myself.
Lady Sas: How do you spend your free time?
Dominatrix Virginia Nox: I’m very active – I hit the gym 3 – 5 times a week, and I’m also into yoga, Pilates, and horseback riding. Dancing is another passion of mine – whether it’s with a partner, friends or alone, it helps me connect with my body in an empowering and sensual way. And I adore spending time in nature with my little dog – he keeps me grounded and happy, I love him so much. He’s literally my baby.
Lady Sas: What are your plans for the future?
Dominatrix Virginia Nox: I definitely want to grow and take my brand to the next level – travel more, create more unforgettable experiences, take the social media site of things a bit further and continue evolving as both an artist and a professional. There’s so much more I want to explore, I’m just getting started
Lady Sas: Thank you very much.
