Lady Sas: Dear Lady Circe, please tell us about your path into the bizarre realm.
Lady Circe: Like many of my colleagues, I already had certain predispositions and an open understanding of sexuality. But I can’t say that I discovered my kinky side at an early age. The desire to experiment really only came with a sexual maturation process at the end of my 20s.
Professionally, I only decided to take this step two years ago and I see it as one of the biggest steps towards emancipation I’ve taken so far.
I am convinced that if you choose what belongs in your life, the sea will part in front of you to get there. And that’s exactly how it feels for me.
To get my first experience and contacts, I asked a few mistresses if they could teach me a little and show me the most important aspects of this business. I ended up with Lady Susan, whom I was allowed to shadow for a while during her sessions. That was my introduction to the industry.
Lady Sas: How would you like Circe to be pronounced? Circe? Kirke? Do guests sometimes have problems with pronunciation?
Lady Circe: Hahaha – yes.

Lady Sas: We know Circe from Homer’s Odyssey. I’m sure you know that best. So who is Circe and why did you choose this name for yourself?
Lady Circe: Using mythological figures is certainly a bit overused. But I can’t help but think that the ancient Greek sorceress Circe, who lives on a paradisiacal island and transforms stranded people into animals (or men into pigs, according to Homer’s Odyssey) is a fitting alias for me as a dominatrix. For me, too, it’s all about transformation and putting aside reason and rationality. Those who come to me can completely immerse themselves in their fantasies. I offer the freedom and the magical words to do so.
Lady Sas: I have already learned that you are not completely unfamiliar with my work. At what point in your development did you come across it? And how did you come into contact with it?
Lady Circe: I came across your site quite early on during my research at the time and was infinitely grateful that someone from the industry was giving such a well-founded insight into their working world and the experiences of other dominatrices. It was a huge treasure trove of information for me. I have great respect for your knowledge and your approach. And I still enjoy reading your publications and learning from you.
Lady Sas: You have chosen an intellectual and artistic approach to the subject of BDSM and dominance. One might think that it is mainly people with a classical education who know Circe from their Latin lessons who turn to you. Is that a prejudice or is it really the case?
Lady Circe: I don’t have any comparisons with the guest demographics of other colleagues. So I don’t know if I have a higher proportion of educated people. But I would say that some guests perhaps welcome the intellectual superstructure because it makes it easier for them to accept their “perverted” side. But when it comes to sexuality, we are actually talking about very basic forces. So you can just be a stupid, horny pig with me.

The deeper floors of your sexual consciousness.
Lady Sas: Quote from your website: “As a dominatrix – mistress of the house, I will guide you to the deeper floors of your sexual consciousness. Where lust lies in the dark, at the source of your sex drive, that’s where my play instinct begins.” Wonderfully formulated. And a beautiful image. Is that about the deeper levels common sense or is it professionally based, for example through a degree in psychology?
Lady Circe: No, I studied sociology. That deals with social issues. Interestingly, as a dominatrix who playfully twists conventions, moral instances and sexual norms, I am closer to my studies than ever before.
Lady Sas: Another quote: “The mindfuck, real tears, overwhelm, fear, catharsis – and ultimately the soft landing.” Catharsis, there it is again, the Latin lesson. Which is Greek and means purification, cleansing. That sounds like very advanced knowledge as a mistress. How do you acquire such knowledge?
Lady Circe: People who find themselves with BDSM are usually looking for something that goes beyond intimacy and sexuality. It’s almost always about crossing boundaries in some way; physically or mentally. I don’t have any specific expertise, just empathy and experience. That’s why I conduct very detailed preliminary talks with new guests. This is the only way I can ensure that I press the right buttons during the session. Statements such as “I want to be at your mercy” or “I want to be humiliated” in particular are quite vague and require more detailed follow-up. They say: “Communication is everything, especially in BDSM.”
Lady Sas: Mindfuck is such a huge word, a huge promise, like a Holy Grail that so many subs chase after, but very few have ever experienced. What is a mindfuck in your eyes? Can you give us a vivid example of this? And how do you go about triggering such a mindfuck, for example?
Lady Circe: You’re absolutely right. That is a holy grail for many people. And it’s also a very individual matter. But I would say that mindfuck is an overwhelming sensation where references to reality are partially blocked out. That’s why I think that consistency is the be-all and end-all for my approach: consistency in my behavior, consistency in the story, consistency in my expectations of the other person. This is the only way this mini-cosmos can develop between us and my guests can revel in their experience.
Otherwise, a simple move for everyone is also simply sensory deprivation. As soon as the other person loses actual control, the pictures in your head and the sensations increase. Manipulation 101. There are also safe and unproblematic hypnosis techniques, but I haven’t tried them yet. The whole mindfuck topic is of course a spectrum and there are risks in this area, especially in the emotional area.
About humiliation & degradation.
Lady Sas: What appeals to you about humiliation & degradation? And: Are you worried about going too far here? How do you straighten out the heap of misery at the end?
Lady Circe: I love the theme of humiliation. The playing field here is very large and the way in which someone feels humiliated is just as varied. For some, just being naked is enough to feel the gentle touch of humiliation. For others, really hard stops have to be pulled out; they have to be beaten down by every trick in the book. I can really get going and have a lot of fun. My sadism is actually mental.
To be able to go all out in the session, it is therefore important for me to establish some form of eye level outside of the phone call. It has to be said that I almost exclusively play from the door. If I discover in the preliminary conversation that someone generally has a weak self-image or that the whole thing is a form of emotional self-harm, I immediately distance myself.
The aftercare after such an intensive session also depends a bit on the person and the topic. But in any case with eye level, lots of smiles, a follow-up conversation and sometimes a warm hug.
Lady Sas: You require a deposit for new guests. Doesn’t that put a lot of guests off? They have to reveal their real name if they want to transfer something, don’t they?
Lady Circe: Yes, I always take a deposit from new guests and my experience shows that most of them are willing to do so. I think that colleagues, as long as they have a professional and trustworthy demeanor, rarely come up against limits here. If you can convince your guests that you are a thoroughly professional businesswoman with a business ethos, you will also gain the trust of your guests. Because of course I have to protect the identity of my guests if I want them to trust me with their secrets. Security is the highest principle of our work.
Lady Sas: If you weren’t working as a mistress, what else would you do for a living?
Lady Circe: Dominatrix is my absolute dream job. There is no comparable alternative for me. But I will continue to pursue my old profession.
Lady Sas: Please tell us how you spend your free time.
Lady Circe: I’m interested in photography, especially street photography, for which Berlin is of course an exciting city. Berlin also has a lot to offer in other ways, so you can enjoy yourself every day. I’m an urban person through and through.
Lady Sas: What are your plans for the future?
Lady Circe: I’m also planning to perform in other cities from this year onwards. So far, Düsseldorf is planned for early summer at the Countess’s residence. I will also be spending two nights with my animals and servants on an old farm in Brandenburg in May.
In terms of content, I will be focusing more on the topic of chastity. Because I find that increasingly exciting. This is where the mindfuck can be taken to a whole new level.
