Lady Sas: Dear Cynthia, how did you first discover BDSM?
Dominatrix and Fetish Lady Cynthia: I can’t really tell you where it came from or why I’m into kinky practices. I’m someone who goes with my gut. Something either turns me on or it doesn’t.
There was a time when I couldn’t have imagined hitting anyone, for example, and I thought dominating other people was awful.
Of course, that was quite a while ago, and I simply hadn’t met the right counterpart yet. In 2006, I started watching BDSM movies and then tried some things privately—and there it was. It clicked.
I didn’t start working in a studio until later. Today, I’m really into it and fully embrace that side of myself.

Everyone around me who matters to me or is part of my life knows that I work as a Dominatrix. Has that ever been a problem? Not for me. If someone can’t deal with it, I assume that person probably avoids me anyway. I simply value honesty.
Lady Sas: I really like that attitude toward honesty. What do you enjoy about dominating submissive men?

Dominatrix and Fetish Lady Cynthia: That question makes me smile. I don’t want to sound conceited, but I think you can tell from my pictures that I have a certain erotic presence. Actual sex, however, is something I prefer to keep for my private life.

Dominatrix and Fetish Lady Cynthia: Maybe because it puts the man in a submissive position. Usually, the Dominatrix has men pamper her feet while they’re lying, sitting, or kneeling on the floor.
Feet can also have an erotic effect on men—especially when combined with nylons. I don’t think I can give you one simple answer, though, because I’ve seen how many different reasons men have for being attracted to this particular fetish.
Lady Sas: At Studio Hades, you offer military-style discipline. What exactly does that involve, and what appeals to you about it?
Dominatrix and Fetish Lady Cynthia: Think of it like a military induction examination. There’s an inspection and there are questions—some of them deliberately uncomfortable. Then there’s training where the man is loudly told exactly which exercises he has to perform. It doesn’t matter if he gets exhausted. Then he simply has to start again from the beginning.
It’s a game, of course. But I always find myself wondering how far the men will really go. Will they actually let themselves be broken? In the end, most gentlemen want a “hot” session. Only a few are prepared to let themselves be pushed to the extreme.
Lady Sas: Could you imagine living a conventional, respectable life? Married, two children, a dog, and a house—the whole traditional package?

First of all, I am well behaved! Like a fairy! I’m simply fulfilling the wishes of the men who come to see me. 😉
A dog and a house? Absolutely.
Marriage? That’s not something I want these days. As long as I can, I will continue living out my passion as a Dominatrix. If a partner is comfortable with that, wonderful. If not, then I’d rather have no partner—and have my dog and my house instead.
