Miss Meelina – Dominatrix in Rome on Female Domination, Devotion and Servitude

Miss Meelina – Dominatrix in Rome
Miss Meelina – Dominatrix in Rome

For Miss Meelina, female domination is not a role she puts on for a session. It is part of who she is. The Rome-based Dominatrix sees true power in psychological authority, discipline, devotion, and the bond that can develop between a Mistress and her submissive.

In this interview with Lady Sas, Miss Meelina speaks openly about professional Femdom in Italy, the BDSM scene in Rome, and the prejudices Dominatrices still face. She explains why she distinguishes between men seeking a temporary fantasy and slaves who genuinely embrace servitude — and why, for her, money alone can never define devotion.

She also reveals the deeply personal side of dominance: the emotional connection that can grow within a long-term D/s dynamic, and the emptiness that can remain when such a bond is lost.

This interview is part of a series of interviews with dominatrixes from around the world. New to Femdom? Our Femdom Guide provides a clear and consensual introduction to female dominance.

Lady Sas: Dear Meelina, you work as a dominatrix in Rome. How did you become a Mistress?

Dominatrix Miss Meelina: Yes, I am a professional Dominatrix in Rome. I became a Mistress through my passion for reading, especially books about domination, BDSM, and the practical work of a Dominatrix.

The books that fascinated me most were manuals, because they helped me understand the practical side of this work and improve my professional skills. Some books are novels that tell stories and experiences from the scene, while others are practical manuals focused on techniques and professional guidance. I especially love books that combine both: practical instruction and real-life stories.

When I think about the moment when I realized the psychological power of domination, I cannot name one precise event. For me, it was something gradual. It was a feeling that grew slowly inside me, an awareness that came to life in my soul: the knowledge that I had this power and that I could exercise it.

For me, true psychological power is not something that can simply be taught, copied, or learned by watching from the outside. It is discovered within oneself, as if it were a hidden part of a person that she did not know existed.

I have been a Dominatrix for almost six years, and I have always had an idol here in Italy: Mistress Gaia, also called Miss Gaia. What fascinated me so much about her was the question of whether her dominant nature had already manifested itself in childhood. She is a Dominatrix of the highest elite. There is only one Gaia, and I do not aspire to be her. But I do aspire to have the same strength and success.

Personally, my sadism began to manifest itself in my very first sessions. I remember an early session with a person who wanted an extremely intense whipping session, with many strokes over the course of an hour. I found it powerful to experience sadism within a clear consensual framework.

Something that makes female domination particularly fascinating is being served and revered. Having men seriously at your feet, feeling that they truly submit to your authority, made me realize how beautiful female domination and the exercise of power can be.

Dominatrix in Rome

Miss Meelina on her work as a Dominatrix in Rome

Lady Sas: What is it like to work as a dominatrix in Rome? Are there any government regulations? In Germany, you have to register with the government. How does that work in Italy?

Dominatrix Miss Meelina: Working in the BDSM world in Rome, as throughout Italy, is a legal self-employed profession in my experience.

It can be done in a private home, a bed and breakfast, or a rented studio. The only difficulties can arise if you work in a condominium complex. In that case, you must follow the building rules, which may prohibit meetings inside the complex in order to prevent noise.

However, this problem usually only arises if you stay in one place for a long time. For example, if a Mistress is on tour for several days or weeks, there are usually no problems.

Lady Sas: Italy is considered a macho country. How does society deal with the topic of female dominance?

Dominatrix Miss Meelina: Italy is a country with many different personal beliefs and attitudes, and much depends on a person’s cultural background.

Many people focus their education only on what is useful for their careers and professional development, rather than pursuing knowledge for personal enrichment. As a result, there is often limited understanding of certain subjects, especially within the BDSM community.

In Italy, some people still believe that being a Dominatrix means being a sex worker or someone who sells her body, similar to an escort. Fortunately, there are also many people who understand that domination is a profession separate from the use or sale of one’s body. Some appreciate the profession, and others even admire the complexity and difficulty of this work.

Then there are slaves. Real servitude. For me, the word “slave” already says everything.

Dominatrix Miss Meelina, Rome

Professional domination has a deep psychological dimension. It requires understanding the person in front of you from the very beginning, especially when working with a submissive. Building trust, recognizing boundaries, understanding motivations, and creating a safe and meaningful dynamic are all essential aspects of the profession.

Prejudices do not only come from people outside the BDSM world. Often, they also come from people who are kinky themselves. A woman who advertises as a Dominatrix is often treated merely as someone who provides a service, rather than as a Mistress in her own right.

This is why I make a distinction between different kinds of people. Some contact you only to satisfy a fantasy. I call them “sessionists.” I do not mean this in a discriminatory way. Some are polite, they contact you with their desires, and you are free to accept the session or not.

Then there are slaves. Real servitude. For me, the word “slave” already says everything.

I personally prefer slaves, because being a Mistress is not a mask that I wear in front of kinksters. It is a lifestyle, even if it naturally has limits depending on the context, place, and people around me.

For example, if I go to the supermarket, I do not expect the cashier to treat me like a Mistress. I respect the fact that domination belongs in certain spaces and dynamics.

But if I could live in a world of domination 24 hours a day, that would be beautiful for me.

I also remember a very positive and touching experience when I went to Lugano in Italian-speaking Switzerland to practice sessions. The people I met there showed greater respect for the image and presence of the dominant woman. They did not expect unnecessary nudity from me, which I found very correct and appropriate. After all, a Dominatrix exercises mental power, and many practices do not require her to use or undress her body.

Miss Meelina about the BDSM scene in Italy

Lady Sas: How openly or discreetly is the BDSM scene organized in Italy?

Dominatrix Miss Meelina: The BDSM scene in Italy is organized through BDSM-themed clubs and parties. Private parties can also be held with a certain number of people.

Lady Sas: What desires or fantasies do you encounter most frequently as a dominatrix in Rome?

Dominatrix Miss Meelina: Generally, the most common fantasies are foot worship and light foot-focused practices, such as trampling and similar forms of worship. These practices do not involve extreme contact.

In Italy, young men often try foot worship for the first time to see whether it interests them or whether it could become a lifestyle for them.

The most common desire in first sessions is simple foot worship and other light practices. This is because men first need to understand what they are interested in, so they approach these sensations very gently.

Even when the practices are simple, dominant power is still exercised over them. That is why they are intrigued and drawn to this kind of experience. Foot worship, although considered a simple practice, is still a form of psychological submission. Kneeling and looking down are submissive gestures that allow a person to enter a dimension of servitude.

Age, at least in my experience in Italy, does not define the seriousness of a person’s role or inner disposition. A young slave can be determined and devoted, just as an older man can. I have personally had slaves who were older than me, but that was my personal choice. Age does not define the seriousness of servitude.

That said, if I had to choose servants, I would personally prefer older people. For me, it is a more elegant image. Usually, older men know more clearly what they want and what they do not want. They are often more devoted and, above all, more disciplined.

In Italy, based on my experience, young men often do not last long as servants. Very often, this is due to a lack of devotion and discipline. Sometimes they also expect a romantic relationship, which a D/s relationship usually does not provide, except in rare cases.

Personally, I am a Mistress. I am not looking for a boyfriend. If I wanted one, I would not ask for servitude and discipline.

Lady Sas: How do friends or family react to your profession? Does everyone know about it?

Dominatrix Miss Meelina: At first, I did not come out to my family. I waited a few years before making that decision.

I met with a psychologist and asked for a little help before coming out to my mother. After that, the news spread. At first, my mother did not fully understand it. But over time, the situation calmed down, and now she holds me in high regard and is proud of me.

What fascinates you about female dominance?

Lady Sas: What personally fascinates you about female dominance?

Dominatrix Miss Meelina: What fascinates me about this world is determination, domination, and the power exercised without hiding.

I enjoy the submissive’s servitude, devotion, and discipline, because within a D/s relationship, discipline is truly present. The love a submissive can give to his Mistress is profound.

Female domination is a form of psychological power and authority exercised within a consensual dynamic. What makes it unique, in my opinion, is the deep emotional bond that a slave can develop toward his Domme.

The level of devotion can be incredibly intense, sometimes resembling complete dedication. There is a mindset that can be summarized as: “If my Mistress is happy, then I am happy too.” This kind of devotion is rare and difficult to find in everyday life.

For me, being a Domme is not something that everyone can truly embody. Anyone can perform domination in exchange for tributes or gifts. But feeling genuine emotions for someone who would dedicate himself completely to serving you is something very different. That, to me, is what it means to be a Mistress rather than simply someone who practices domination for material rewards.

Personally, I have felt that without a devoted slave, something was missing in my life.

Dominatrix Miss Meelina, Rome

A true Domme often experiences the dynamic as a meaningful connection, not just as a role. Personally, I have felt that without a devoted slave, something was missing in my life. It was as though a part of me was absent, and that feeling was only fulfilled through the presence of a trusted servant who shared that bond with me.

One especially important experience for me was a 24-hour relationship that lasted three years. It was with one of my very first slaves. We met at the same workplace. He contacted me through a social network, and later, outside the workplace, we met and deepened everything in session.

Italy is not a strong economic country, and many people live with low salaries. He did not earn much and could afford only one session a month.

But that is not the point.

The point is that he took second jobs so that he could come to me. For me, that is already devotion. He often gave me rides in the car. Every Christmas, he gave me a gift, even a gold anklet. Every day I received a message saying, “Good morning, Mistress,” and in the evening, “Goodnight, Mistress.”

It is not money that shows who you really are. It is what you do. And he did so much for me.

I remember very well the evening of my dismissal. In Italy, it is very common for companies not to renew contracts in order to pay fewer taxes, and many young people suddenly find themselves without work.

That day, I was on duty. I learned only at the beginning of the shift that those would be my last hours at the company. He was working two floors below me in a multi-story office building. At 9 PM, I had to empty my personal belongings from the locker and hand over my beige badge. I had to give it to him because he was responsible for that.

He was in his small office, crying.

I told him, “Stay calm. I will see you in the session.”

But I will never forget his eyes at that moment.

Unfortunately, I lost him almost a year ago. He disappeared and never wrote to me again. For privacy reasons, I could not look for him. But every day, I still wonder whether I am still in his thoughts. Whether I am still part of his thoughts.

That is what I mean when I say that, after losing this servant, I felt as though half of me was missing. I felt that something essential was absent. I had to manage everything on my own, and it created a deep inner emptiness.

If we talk about dominance, we must also talk about submission. They are two forces that go hand in hand. If a servant is not present for the Mistress, she can feel empty, as if a piece of her is missing. Sometimes she feels incomplete.

For me, it does not feel right for a Mistress to be alone. And especially in Italy, a serious servant is not easily found. Even a simple “replacement” is not satisfying for me, because that is not how I live this dynamic.

For me, it is not simply a matter of one slave disappearing and another one taking his place. There is always sorrow inside a Mistress when she loses her other half.

Lady Sas: What are your plans for the future?

Dominatrix Miss Meelina: My future plan is to dominate in different countries and to continue growing while building my submissive empire as well as possible.

I hope to become an example for every girl who feels she belongs in this world, and to provide good guidance within it.

Lady Sas: Thank you very much.

FAQs

Who is Miss Meelina?

Miss Meelina is a professional Dominatrix based in Rome, Italy. She has worked as a Mistress for almost six years and describes female domination as part of her personality and lifestyle rather than simply a role she performs during sessions.

How did Miss Meelina become a Dominatrix?

Her interest developed through reading books about domination, BDSM, and the practical work of professional Dominatrices. She was especially interested in manuals combining practical techniques with real experiences from the BDSM scene.

What is it like to work as a Dominatrix in Rome?

According to Miss Meelina, professional BDSM domination can be practiced as self-employed work in Italy. Sessions may take place in private homes, rented studios, or other suitable locations, although local building rules can sometimes create restrictions.

What are the most common BDSM fantasies Miss Meelina encounters in Rome?

Foot worship is one of the most common interests, particularly among men exploring submission for the first time. Other relatively gentle foot-focused practices, including trampling, are also frequently requested.

What is the difference between a “sessionist” and a slave for Miss Meelina?

She describes sessionists as people who mainly want to experience a particular fantasy during a session. A slave, in her view, approaches submission as something deeper and demonstrates genuine servitude, discipline, and devotion over time.

What does female domination mean to Miss Meelina?

For Miss Meelina, female domination is primarily psychological power and authority within a consensual D/s dynamic. She places particular importance on discipline, devotion, trust, and the emotional connection that can develop between a Mistress and her submissive.

Does money define devotion in a Mistress-slave relationship?

No. Miss Meelina emphasizes that devotion is demonstrated through actions rather than money alone. She describes a former long-term slave whose everyday acts of service, reliability, and dedication meant more to her than the amount he could spend on sessions.

What are Miss Meelina’s plans for the future?

She wants to practice domination in different countries, continue developing professionally, and build what she calls her “submissive empire.” She also hopes to become an example and source of guidance for women who feel drawn to the world of female dominance.
