Lady Sas: Dear Missy van Licks, tell us how you first found your way into BDSM.

Bizarrlady Missy van Licks: I first discovered BDSM through a relationship. My partner at the time was a switch, which gave me the opportunity to experience myself as a dominant woman. After moving to Berlin about five years ago, my passion for this lifestyle grew even stronger. Today, I live BDSM with every fiber of my being.

Bizarrlady Missy van Licks: I work as a Bizarrlady because the term best reflects the way I dominate. Of course, it is always shaped by strong dominance, because being allowed to touch me is never something to be taken for granted. My guests have to earn that privilege first. Bizarrlady Missy van Licks: The name came about spontaneously one evening over a glass of wine. It was important to me that my name reflect what a man can expect from me: unconventionality, creativity, and facesitting. Hahaha.

Lady Sas: Your profile says, “Goddess of Lust. Healer. Rebel.” Please explain the word “Healer.” What do you mean by that?

Bizarrlady Missy van Licks: I don’t see myself simply as a “service provider” who performs certain practices. I also see myself as a kind of ally who offers a path toward greater inner freedom and contentment. I give my guests a space where they can express their deepest desires and needs, no matter how dark or “perverse” they may seem.

Lady Sas: And what about “Rebel”? What are you rebelling against?

Bizarrlady Missy van Licks: I think a lot about social conventions, especially those within the BDSM scene, but also about my own beliefs and assumptions. One of my original reasons for entering this profession was to keep exploring my sexuality, reassessing it, and questioning it. So I rebel against old patterns of thought within the scene, outside of it, and inside my own head. Things change in life. And that’s perfectly okay.

Lady Sas: How do you come up with new ideas? What inspires you?

Missy van Licks: I’m inspired by many things. That ranges from conversations with fellow professionals to BDSM stories in books and podcasts—and even the occasional naughty dream.

Lady Sas: Tell us a little about how you spend your free time.

Missy van Licks: I absolutely love going for runs in nature. It helps me clear my head. I also enjoy going dancing with friends, and short city trips satisfy my sense of adventure.

Lady Sas: What are your plans for the future?

Missy van Licks: I’m actually someone who doesn’t plan very far ahead. Of course, I have a general idea of where I want to go in life, and I’m very grounded. In the future, I want to keep growing, both on my own and together with my guests, while living in the moment and taking things as they come. And we’ll see what else life has in store. 🙂
