Lady Sas: Dear Asmondena, congratulations—you’ve been nominated for Dominatrix of the Year at the European Fetish Awards. The nomination alone is quite an honor. Have awards like this changed the way you see yourself? And how do you deal with having thousands of fans?

Lady Asmondena: Of course I was happy about the nomination. But it hasn’t changed the way I see myself. If I hadn’t believed in myself, I never would have chosen this path in the first place.

As a Mistress, I’ve also been accustomed to flattery and worship for a long time. My slaves constantly make sure I feel like a goddess. (smiles)

Lady Sas: You’ve also made a name for yourself as a performer in BDSM films and have appeared in more than 350 clips and movies. What does it feel like to perform in front of a camera? Do you tune it out and focus entirely on the session, or does knowing that people are watching add another layer of pleasure?

Lady Asmondena: I enjoy my dominance and live it out completely even when there’s no camera around. I’m simply naturally dominant.

But I have to admit that I enjoy “playing” with the camera. The humiliation of the slaves takes on an entirely new dimension, and I enjoy savoring that.

That’s why I’m more than just a performer. Every now and then, I deliberately turn toward the camera—and grin. Anyone who has seen my clips knows exactly what I mean.

Lady Asmondena on Power, Humiliation, and the Other World Kingdom

Lady Sas: You also filmed at the OWK. What did the Other World Kingdom in the Czech Republic, which has since closed, mean to you?

Lady Asmondena: I thought the OWK was simply brilliant—a world “the way it should be.” You could use men, humiliate them, and enslave them without having to hide. It was always tremendous fun. It’s a great shame that the OWK closed. Even though there were certain restrictions, such as not being allowed to film strap-on scenes there, I explored and deepened other aspects of female dominance. In fact, I inflicted some of the most intense pain I’ve ever administered there—whether with a whip, paddle, or cane. I have wonderful memories of the OWK.

Lady Sas: My slave Toytoy is a fan of your films. Through him, I know that face slapping is something of a house specialty for you and that you have a particular fondness for strap-ons. What do you feel when you use slaves in this way?

Lady Asmondena: What I especially like about face slapping is the helplessness of the slaves kneeling in front of me and simply presenting their faces for me to slap. For as long as I want. As hard as I want. They feel completely at my mercy—and see themselves that way as well. They accept it because they can’t resist me. With a strap-on, it’s similar, but even more fundamental and humiliating. I simply possess their bodies and reduce them to objects of pleasure. The sense of power I experience is quite intoxicating. I physically feel that I own my slaves without limits. They aren’t the same afterward.

On the Exchange of Power

Lady Sas: Fundamentally, what is it about BDSM that appeals to you?

Lady Asmondena: Above all, it’s the exchange of power that has such a strong appeal. The fact that there are so many men who want to submit to me completely gives me—and obviously them as well—a tremendous thrill. Possessing limitless power over other people is naturally highly erotic, even without sex in the conventional sense playing any role.

Lady Sas: When do you consider a session especially successful?

Lady Asmondena: Even though I’m not interested in simply fulfilling a wish list, a session is successful when both the slave and I get something out of it. As in every relationship, BDSM involves reciprocity—but it isn’t symmetrical. I always direct the session according to my own ideas, and I am always the Top. But the fact that my slaves usually do everything they can to visit me again is important confirmation for me. Empathy is very important to me, and that’s something my slaves particularly appreciate. It means they truly surrender themselves to my creativity and desire instead of trying to “dictate” every detail from below.

Lady Sas: Could you imagine a life without BDSM?

Lady Asmondena: Without BDSM? No.

I’ve explored other creative sides of myself as well, and that was interesting—for example, designing fetish outfits. That’s why I was inactive as a professional Dominatrix for a while. But I’ve now returned to my roots, and I can’t and don’t want to imagine doing anything else.

Lady Sas: What are your plans for the future?

Lady Asmondena: 2015 will once again be a year of change. I’m currently working on a larger and even more beautiful studio because fantasy and inspiration increasingly need more space. My old clips website is also scheduled to close in January 2015 so that a new and more attractive one can replace it soon afterward. New clips, new design, new webmaster. Alongside that, I mainly communicate through Facebook and occasionally through X.
