Lady Sas: Dear Mistress K., how did you end up becoming a Femdom and training a sub?
Mistress K.: I met a man on an online platform who had “switch” listed in his profile. He made it very clear that he wanted to explore his submissive side again, so I started looking into the subject and found myself increasingly drawn to the idea of being a Femdom. That led to our first sessions, and I genuinely love being his Mistress, training my little sub, and playing with him.
Lady Sas: What were the biggest questions on your mind when you first started exploring Femdom?
Mistress K.: Whew — since I really knew absolutely nothing about the subject, I had a lot of questions. One of the biggest things I wondered about was how to come across as dominant. How should I present myself as a Mistress? What different types of play are there? Those were some of the things I was trying to understand in the beginning.

Mistress K. on What It Feels Like to Be a Femdom
Lady Sas: How does it feel now to be a Femdom? Is it something you would recommend to other women?
Mistress K.: How does it feel? Really, really good. My little sub worships me and adores me, and I don’t have to beg for attention. I love playing with him, giving him tasks, and seeing how grateful he is. It gives me an enormous amount of pleasure as well, because I’m the Mistress, and first and foremost, my little sub is there to take care of my pleasure. I never thought things would develop this way, but it brings me a lot of joy.
At the same time, being a Mistress also involves work. You have to think ahead about what a session might look like, make decisions, stay consistent, and take responsibility for training your sub. As a Mistress, you always carry responsibility, and you have to be aware of that. And yes, I would absolutely recommend that other women at least try it once.
“I would recommend that other women at least try it once. Every woman deserves that kind of devotion!”

Tips for Women Who Want to Become a Mistress
Lady Sas: What image did you have of a Mistress when you still knew very little about Femdom?
Mistress K.: I think, like most people, I imagined the classic dominatrix — leather, latex, and a whip. 😉 And yes, of course, it can look like that, but in the end, it’s really about your presence. Clothing can help reinforce that presence, but it isn’t everything.
Lady Sas: Do you have any advice for women who are just getting started with Femdom and also want to become a Mistress?
Mistress K.: Read — and TALK! Communication with your sub is incredibly important. There has to be trust, and you really need to communicate openly.
I once read this sentence in a book, although unfortunately I no longer remember which one:
“Submission is a gift, born from strength, nourished by trust, and sustained through respect and appreciation.”
And I think that captures it perfectly. Being submissive is not a weakness at all — quite the opposite. I admire my little sub for how strong he actually is to be able to explore all of this with me. But he probably shouldn’t find that out. 😉
Lady Sas: What comes next in your development as a Femdom?
Mistress K.: My sub and I are going to attend a flogging workshop and a bondage workshop together, and we’re also planning to attend a Femdom party soon. I’m very curious to see what else is still ahead of us.

FAQs
How do you get started as a Femdom?
Getting started as a Femdom usually begins with curiosity, openness, and learning. It is important to take your time, develop your own sense of dominance, read, reflect, and avoid feeling pressured to conform to a fixed image of what a Mistress should be. Every woman’s path into Femdom can develop differently.
Do you have to wear certain clothes to be a Mistress?
No. Clothing can reinforce a dominant presence, but it is not what makes someone a Mistress. Inner confidence, presence, and consistency are much more important than latex, leather, or accessories.
How important is communication between a Mistress and her sub?
Communication is essential. Desires, boundaries, expectations, and uncertainties should be discussed openly. Trust grows through honest communication and forms the foundation of a stable Femdom relationship.
Is Femdom only about pleasure, or also about responsibility?
It is both. Alongside pleasure, play, and power, the Mistress also takes responsibility for structure, decisions, and the emotional well-being of the sub. Being conscious of that responsibility is an important part of the role.
Can any woman become a Mistress?
Many women have dominant traits even if they have never explored them before. Femdom is not a rigid concept but a process of discovery. A woman who is curious, reflective, and willing to learn can develop her own way of being a Mistress.
What helps women who are completely new to Femdom?
Knowledge, communication, patience, and experience. Books, guides, interviews with other Femdoms, and personal exploration can all help build confidence. The goal is not perfection, but growth.
