Nikki Delgado is one of the finest and most talented voice artists in the world. She comes from the United Kingdom and now lives in Alicante, Spain. We are thrilled to inform you that Nikki has just recorded our audiobook “Exchange of Slaves” and brought it to life with her particular skills. With her voice and her British accent, she knows perfectly how to embody a self-confident, sexy and sometimes somewhat arrogant Mistress. Who is the voice behind the audiobook? Lady Sas: Dear Nikki, people generally imagine that being a voice artist is a dream job. But I’m sure the job also has its challenges. What is it like to be a voice artist today?
Nikki: I would say it really is my dream job! Every day I get to wake up and be a new character in a different story or take on a new role! I love what I do and feel very blessed to get paid to do this. In terms of challenges with the rise of AI more and more of our jobs are going which makes me extremely sad. The human voice is so powerful that it’s a shame more and more people are opting to use AI rather than use the human voice.
Lady Sas: You did a great job of bringing the audio book “Exchange of Slaves” to life. What is the secret to making a text come alive?
Nikki: I loved narrating the book! It was so much fun! I think getting myself into the characters really helped.

Lady Sas: What did you particularly like about the audio book? Do you have a favorite chapter?
Nikki: I loved the switch over chapter. It was a twist I didn’t anticipate and helped to keep the book exciting and the reader hooked.
Lady Sas: Nikki, what were the challenges in producing this audio book?
Nikki: Getting the balance of characters is always challenging but most of this comes down to how well the book is written! It’s always much easier to work on a well written book than a poorly written one.
Lady Sas: Many people listen to audiobooks because they have little time to read or just want to relax. How do you relax?
Nikki: I really love to read despite it being my job I still enjoy getting stuck into a good book! When I read for pleasure though it has to be easy and something that really grips me. I also love to dance and swim in the sea!
